We are always willing to go the extra mile for our clients, in order to best serve their needs, no matter what may be needed. Detection Design as a company offers a strong family based environment, where our staff members feel part of a family as opposed to a regiment type work environment. We proud ourselves with the quality of work that we offer our clients and we will not compromise on quality. Detection Design as a company has undertaken a company commitment to develop into a proudly South African company. We aim to achieve this goal by employing previously disadvantaged individuals as well as ensure that a developmental program is met with each person employed. We are aware that companies do not grow into large organisations overnight and take a good few years of dedicated hard work. This will only be achieved with the assistance of our clients with ongoing support for years to come. This essentially means that all technicians undergo regular training to ensure the best possible service is given to our clients at all times. We are confident that we can offer you competitive pricing with high quality work that you expect. They rely on the occupants of the building discovering the fire and acting to warn others by operating the system. Such systems form the basic requirements for places of employment with no sleeping risk. These types of systems provide fire detection in spcified parts of the building where there is either high risk or where business disruptions must be minimized. This type of is likely to be appropriate for the majority of residential care premises. In practice, detectors should be placed in nearly all spaces and voids. With these systems the whole of a building is covered apart from minor exceptions. These fire detection systems are idnetical to an L3 system but with additional detection in an area where there is high chance of ignition, e.g.,kitchen) or where the risk to people is particularly increased (e.g., sleeping risk). Detectors should be placed in all escape routes and all rooms that open onto escape routes. These types of systems provide more extensive cover than L4 systems. The objective is to warn the occupants of the building early enough to ensure that all are able to exit the building before escape routes become impassable. Detectors will be placed in escape routes, although this may not be suitable depending on the risk assessment or if the size and complexity of a building is increased. Detectors might be sited in other areas of the building, but the objective is to protect the escape route.
